CNH, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment with about 11,300 dealers in 170 countries, had net sales of $18.5 billion in 2008. Of total net revenues, agricultural equipment sales represented 70 percent, construction equipment about 24 percent and financial services about six percent.

Globally, CNH has more than 31,500 employees, and it operates 40 manufacturing facilities and 27 research and development centers.

Manufacturing plants are based in China: Harbin (tractors)and Shanghai (tractors); Uzbekistan: Tashkent (tractors and cotton pickers); and in Turkey: Ankara (tractors). Facilities are also located in India: New Delhi (tractors) and Pithampur (tractor loaders and backhoes); and in Pakistan: Dera Ghazi Khan (tractors).
