| Europe CNH, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment with about 11,300 dealers in 170 countries, had net sales of $18.5 billion in 2008. Of total net revenues, agricultural equipment sales represented 70 percent, construction equipment about 24 percent and financial services about six percent. About 32 percent of our net sales of agricultural equipment and 28 percent of construction equipment were generated from sales in Europe. Globally, CNH has more than 31,500 employees, including more than 14,200 in Europe, and it operates 40 manufacturing facilities and 27 research and development centers.
