CNH, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment with more than 11,600 dealers in approximately 170 countries, had net sales of $13.8 billion in 2009. Of total net revenues, agricultural equipment sales represented 76 percent, construction equipment about 15 percent and financial services about nine percent.

About 30 percent of our net sales of agricultural equipment and 24 percent of construction equipment were generated from sales in Europe. Globally, CNH has approximately 30,000 employees, including approximately 12,450 in Europe, and it operates 38 manufacturing facilities and 28 research and development centers.

Manufacturing locations are found in Austria: St. Valentin (tractors); Belgium: Antwerp (components) and Zedelgem (combines harvesters, hay and forage); Italy: Imola (tractor loader backhoes, mini-excavators, compact wheel loaders), Jesi (tractors), Lecce (midi wheeled excavators, telehandlers, dozers, wheel loaders), Modena (components), and San Mauro (crawler excavators and wheeled excavators); France: Coex (grape harvesters), Croix (components), and Tracy-Le-Mont (components); the United Kingdom: Basildon (tractors, engines); and in Poland: Plock (combines, balers.)
