Central and South America

CNH, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment with more than 11,600 dealers in approximately 170 countries, had net sales of $13.8 billion in 2009. Of total net revenues, agricultural equipment sales represented 76 percent, construction equipment about 15 percent and financial services about nine percent.

About 11 percent of our net sales of agricultural equipment and 28 percent of construction equipment were generated from sales in Central and South America. Globally, CNH has approximately 30,000 employees, including about 3,800 in Central and South America, and it operates 38 manufacturing facilities and 28 research and development centers.

Manufacturing plants are located in Brazil: Belo Horizonte (crawler excavators, tractor loader backhoes, crawler dozers, wheel loaders, graders), Curitiba (tractors and combines), Piracicaba (sugar cane harvesters, coffee harvesters, planters and sprayers) and Sorocaba (tractors and combines).
